RJR Acquisitions has also been accused of failing to provide the customer with proper information. The customers claim that when they request legitimate information from the company they are unwilling to supply it and instead tell them to contact their accountant or attorney for more details.
RJR Acquisitions has been accused of trying to get customers to pay on debts that were past the Statute of Limitations. Naturally these customers were very upset since the law protects them from such collection attempts and RJR Acquisitions according to their reports willfully tried to take advantage of them in case they were not familiar with what was standard practice.
RJR Acquisitions has reportedly teamed up with Capital One to offer debtors pre-approved credit cards to use to pay their current debt. This practice will almost certainly result in an additional financial burden on the debtor.
RJR Acquisitions is also not accredited by the Better Business Bureau. In addition to this it does not appear to be a member of any recognized debt collection associations. The practices of this company are therefore not regulated by the industry and this in itself should be cause for alarm.
